everybody is waiting. just go for it.
6 am on 16th October
of 2014 wasn't such a sure morning.
We stood near the
National Park, Borivli, Mumbai, and almost every schedule was missing its line.
Our driver colleague, Habibbhai, was turtling half an hour late. Our team was
waiting for to be picked up. And thus began, a hesitant start.
We started thanking
people.
Hour after hour. Day
after day.
Week after week and
now its been seven months.
Thanking some.
Small talking with
some.
Deep listening to
some.
But, we saw a common
thing in most.
Everyone is waiting.
Everyone is waiting.
Every single person
is waiting.
Every every single
person is waiting.
Waiting in their
eyes.
Waiting in their
ears.
Waiting in their
guard.
Waiting for miracles.
Waiting for the
change.
Change has become 99%
of our vocabulary nowadays.
It seems all the
spaces in Mumbai and perhaps in the world have become a waiting area.
And we thought queues or bus stops or lift area or meeting rooms or railway stations or airports are the major waiting area.
And we thought queues or bus stops or lift area or meeting rooms or railway stations or airports are the major waiting area.
But no.
All humans are
waiting areas.
Waiting for more
love.
More trust.
About being accepted
to make mistakes.
They are crying and admitting they aren't God.
They are crying and admitting they aren't God.
They are clueless and
lost in the rationalistic that we are force fitting each day.
Look around. And
trust me, everyone is waiting.
There is no messiah
who will come and make the change.
You are the messiah.
You are the only messiah.
And I know even you may be waiting.
And I know even you may be waiting.
But "wait until
others as they will wait until you" is getting us nowhere.
Routine, Mistakes and
Good are the daily fashion of life.
Routine needs
dignity, which a thank you can deliver.
Mistake needs
positivity, which a thank you in advance can deliver.
Good needs more of
it, which a thank you can deliver.
Just go along.
Just a simple thank
you.
We are doing it.
And we are seeing
people's eyes go mist, their tone turning human.
The burdens of
conditioning of so many centuries will take time.
For some, one thank you may be enough to be transformed.
For others, many more is what will be required.
But thank you has a sure power.
For some, one thank you may be enough to be transformed.
For others, many more is what will be required.
But thank you has a sure power.
And as we continue,
we would like to Thank You for all your support.
Each of you have been a teacher to us.
Each of you have been a teacher to us.
Thank You.
