deep is not far, only if we travel.

we are all constantly explaining, explaining things to our own selves, explaining to others. too many things. and fleeting explanations. if we chose to explain anything in sincere detail, and we begin, some shall exhaust explanations faster, some shall continue until the listener exhausts, and both shall certainly reach the end of the concrete road of reasons, its called the been-there-done-that end, many retreat from here. and if we apply a little bit of will to travel further, there shall start an earthy uneven road of existence, and we shall say, "who would live here anyways?", "doesn't look domestic, or ever discovered !!!", and some shall retreat from here. and with little more will, we shall keep going round and round, and either get lost or reach the place where we started. and some shall retreat here or retreat from here. next time, while explaining anything, we can be humble about our shallow s...

everybody is waiting. just go for it.

6 am on 16th October of 2014 wasn't such a sure morning. We stood near the National Park, Borivli, Mumbai, and almost every schedule was missing its line. Our driver colleague, Habibbhai, was turtling half an hour late. Our team was waiting for to be picked up. And thus began, a hesitant start. We started thanking people. Hour after hour. Day after day. Week after week and now its been seven months. Thanking some. Small talking with some. Deep listening to some. But, we saw a common thing in most. Everyone is waiting. Every single person is waiting. Every every single person is waiting. Waiting in their eyes. Waiting in their ears. Waiting in their guard. Waiting for miracles. Waiting for the change. Change has become 99% of our vocabulary nowadays. It seems all the spaces in Mumbai and perhaps in the world have become a waiting area. And we thought queues or bus stops or lift area or meeting rooms or railway stations or airports...

Zero Soon Game or Non-Zero Sum Game

Growth! Growth! Growth! is a cry that surrounds; and because everyone's shouting it, lets not be left behind and perhaps be slowfound. A GDP made up of of transactions, actually many a transactions; both billed and unbilled transactions. Billed transactions made up nouns and decisions; unbilled transactions made up of verbs and creativity, collaboration & discussions. Gap between billed and unbilled transactions is the holy grail; for it defines nation's productivity, and the have and the have-not trail. The gap is elastic with social capital; that is trust, love, compassion, friendliness, joy and the principles. When social capital bankruptcy looms; maximum hoardings of all kind blooms. "Me" over "others", "valuation" over "values" take centre stage, welcome to the world of fend-for-yourself, the new sage. We all want change, and we all want to grow; seeds that deep polarization of politics and cut-throat co...

and now you can be sure

are you sure?, or are you sure enough? as we drive life, we only see crossroads, here and there and all, where have all the roads gone? what do we do at the crossroads? we pedal the accelerator, floor the brakes, and merrily wish to smooth ahead. and why this bipolar? Oh ! because a game is on. a game of "i know", and it stretches to "i know it all", where prize is survival, sometimes thrival, where the shame is "how come you don't know?" a game where before you could reflect on your move, the opponent packs a punch. actually several opponents. actually several punch. and you are drawn into your punch, and you keep punching, and sometimes it hits, only yourself, or hurts the other, below the belt, but most times its mayweather and pacquiao. and we self-declare winners, and how much we love to win? of all that we know, how do we really know? things change their wear and look every minute, d...
